Honoured with the Award for Innovation 2011:TWINSOLAR Compact

The right collector for your property:

Various factors have to be taken into account when choosing the design of a SolarAir installation:

  • Surface area of the spaces to be ventilated using solar power
  • Location of the building and the climatic conditions there
  • Collector Assembly options

For optimal solar ventilation in Germany:

1m² collector area for 15m² of living space

Excellent heating is also achieved during the changing of the seasons which means that the conventional heating can remain switched off.
In the Mediterranean, 1m² of collector area can heat and ventilate up to 30m² of living area.

Air collector systems by Grammer Solar:

Grammer Solar offers various sizes and types depending on the requirements (System overview). The following standard installations are used particularly frequently for solar ventilation:

TWINSOLAR compact
- independent, fully ready for operation and easy to install (Brochure, Data sheet)

TWINSOLAR compact 1.3; 2.0 TWINSOLAR compact 4.0; 4.5; 6.0
Individual collectors for small properties with up to 30m² of living space; up to 3m of air conduction Interfaceable collectors for properties with 40m² plus of living space; up to 8m of air conduction

JUMBOSOLAR 20.0
- for a large volume of air, ready-made and cost-effective (Brochure, Data sheet)

20m² installation for property up to 300m², 8 coupled GLK collectors, mains connection required

Tip 1: Please refer to Assembly options when choosing a collector.

Tip 2: With a larger collector surface area you can receive even more intense solar heating during the changing of the seasons!

Tip 3: Sometimes only using solar ventilation for individual rooms is recommended in order to keep the installation work to a minimum.

German Quality...

We have been developing and producing our SolarAir collectors in our location in Amberg, Germany to meet the highest quality standards for over 30 years. They are extremely robust, allowing them to be used over many decades.

SolarAir collectors by Grammer Solar are funded by the state in Germany, currently in old buildings with € 120 per m².
